San Francisco-based RAD Security, a leader in cloud infrastructure protection, has secured $14 million in Series A funding to accelerate the growth of its AI-driven defense platform.
The round was led by Cheyenne Ventures, with participation from Forgepoint Capital, Lytical Ventures, Akamai, .406 Ventures, Vertex Ventures, and Gula Tech Adventures. The investment will support the expansion of RAD Security’s Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) solution, integrating advanced AI-driven capabilities to help enterprises secure and scale their cloud and AI environments.
Led by CEO Brooke Motta, RAD Security’s platform enables organizations to ingest and analyze data from multiple sources, query security tools, and implement intelligent triage strategies, significantly reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR).
