Scale AI has introduced its inaugural “SEAL Models of the Year Awards,” recognizing top-performing artificial intelligence models across core capability categories in 2025. Based on performance data from the SEAL Leaderboards and SEAL Showdown, the awards highlight advancements in reasoning, safety alignment, multimodal understanding, agentic workflows, and overall performance. In support of these evaluations, Scale published more than 450 benchmarking results across more than 50 models, underscoring both the rapid pace of innovation and the growing importance of rigorous model assessment in the evolving AI landscape.
