Universal Robots, in collaboration with our partner Scale AI, introduced the UR AI Trainer, a new system designed to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-driven robotics. The platform enables robots to learn tasks through imitation by capturing high-quality, synchronized data as human operators guide robotic movements in real time.
By combining Universal Robots’ industrial hardware with Scale AI’s data infrastructure, the system creates a continuous data and training loop that allows AI models to be trained, deployed, and improved directly in production environments. The approach aims to bridge the gap between research and real-world deployment, supporting the shift from pre-programmed automation to more adaptive, AI-powered robotic systems.
