Chunk Foods, a producer of plant-based whole-cut products, has donated thousands of plant-based steaks to nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles to support first responders and residents affected by the recent Palisades and Eaton fires in the Los Angeles and Pasadena areas.

This donation helps local nonprofits provide high-protein, ketogenic-certified, and clean-label meals to those impacted, ensuring both emergency responders and displaced community members receive nutritious support.

“This donation is about more than just food—it’s about providing nourishment and comfort during a difficult time. We’re deeply moved by the courage of first responders and the resilience of those affected, including many restaurant and business owners we closely collaborate with,” said Amos Golan, founder and CEO of Chunk Foods.

The initiative reflects Chunk Foods’ broader mission to make sustainable, plant-based alternatives more accessible. After entering the U.S. retail market in late 2024, the company recently expanded distribution through a partnership with the online platform Vegan Essentials.
